The Gate.  There are some who still remember its significance, though to most the fact of its existence is little more than a fairytale.  But I remember, for I am its creator.  The Gate is a doorway, and a seal, my greatest achievement of the many in my long lifetime.
Two worlds, Earth and Dragon’s Breath, bound together by the greatest of magical incantations.  It alone holds them there suspended, but never connecting.  They remain to this day as two parallel worlds that cannot see or feel one another, but are forever entwined.
And in a way, the Gate symbolizes mankind’s last chance, and the final hope of Earth itself.  For by its creation, one of the greatest evils that has ever lived was locked away forever.  Or so it was thought...
